ABOUT WILLIAM KAPLAN

Educated at the University of Toronto, Osgoode Hall and Stanford University, William Kaplan is an arbitrator, mediator and independent investigator practising primarily in the Province of Ontario. In 1989 he began his arbitration and mediation practice.

He is one of the founding co-editors of the Labour Arbitration Yearbook and the Canadian Journal of Labour and Employment Law, and he is a named arbitrator in numerous collective agreements. He was awarded the Law Society Medal for his contributions to the legal profession, and was given an honourary doctor of laws degree from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
